HARFIELD VILLAGE COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

HVCID is a non-profit community association made up of volunteering residents, established to improve safety in Harfield Village.

What we do

The HVCID’s objective is to improve safety and security in Harfield Village.
We cover the area from Kenilworth Road to Imam Haron Road, and the railway line to Rosmead Avenue and Chichester Road.
It is a non-profit community association, made up of volunteering residents and a manager. We are not a city-linked CID. Harfield Village is not a Special Rating Area (SRA). HVCID receives no money from the city or residents’ rates

The only requirement to be an HVCID member is that you are a Fidelity ADT (F-ADT) customer. There is no cost for HVCID membership.

Benefits of our partnership with Fidelity ADT

Two dedicated patrol vehicles in the Village, with F-ADT officers who are familiar with the area.

LPR, analytical and overview cameras at various points in and around the Village.

Sponsorship which enables us to employ our manager, maintain the cameras, and host community events, including Halloween in the park and the last two Harfield Carnivals.

Fidelity ADT personnel that monitor the alerts from our LPR and analytical cameras, as well as messages on the HVCID Crime Alert WhatsApp group.

Responsibilities of the HVCID manager
