Reported by Fidelity ADT: 1 – 25 September2024 No incidents to report. Mileage per vehicle for 1 – 25 September 2024: D19: 2787 D20: 2851 Callouts per vehicle for 1 – 25 September 2024: D19: 40 D20: 187 Incidents reported to SAPS: 1 – 30 September 2024 – Robbery at residential premises – Oxford Street – Common Assault – Surrey Street x 2, 1st Avenue – Theft out of motor vehicle – Kenilworth Road – Fraud – 1st Avenue – Common Robbery – Dingle Avenue – Possession of dangerous weapons – Imam Haron (Arrest) – Offences under drug and drug trafficking – Rosmead (Arrest) – Driving under the influence – Imam Haron (Arrest) NB!!! Please continue to be aware of emails and calls from your supposed bank. Many people are giving their details and pin over the phone or clicking on email links and losing a lot of money. Your banks have been sending notices with alerts to this. Please take care! Fraud is rife at the moment! Remote jamming continues to increase. Please double check your car is locked even after you hear the beep! Please Note: We have 2 dedicated Law Enforcement(LE) officers that work in our area!! They are there to respond to our complaints. Please call the Helpline number 021 480 7700 or 107 from a landline. They can address any Bylaw issue, illegal parking attendants, people sleeping, undressing, doing laundry, drinking on pavements or in our parks etc. The reference number is sent to you and the complaint goes directly to our LE officer’s device. They have to respond and revert back to the CoCT. When they are off duty, complaints are addressed by the City LE officers and auxiliary officers. |
